Christmas!
its finally christmas! the 2nd day of christmas to be exact. i've been through literally a lot recently, with all that travelling. and its only malaysia! from kuching to klang, it was a month of madness travelling up and down. the hectic concerts in kuching made me treasure my time more in klang - spending time with jimbo and his parents. it was amazing...the food we had there. lots and lots of good food! had dim sum, bak kut teh, excellent dry noodles, balled chicken rice, and to top it all, his mother personally made hainanese chicken rice for us right from scratch! i feel fat. oh, and i also finally had my chance to have my fav quarter pounder from macs here. yay. mission accomplished. not that i'm proud of the amount of food i consumed, but i'm damn excited that i managed to have my quarter pounder, considering they dun have it here in spore for some unknown reason. the shopping was great, as usual. it was the great end of the yr msia sale and i got some great bargains! food, clothes. ok, no more new clothes for a while. and i got a digicam for the family at a good bargain! woohoo. our family finally has a digicam yay! these days, i got a lot of things to do. clear my messy room, clear up my wardrobe, tidy up my writing table, throw out unwanted things. argh. i think i better go start now, if not, goodness knows when i'l get started. God bless me!

so excited...will be going to exercise the option to purchase later wif jimbo at clarence lane! deposit to be cleared! and more money to be earned back! work work work. its all abt money now. i gotta think not only for myself but for my future, my life wif jimbo, how we r gonna live a clean life without much debts. with faith, we believe God will provide for me. Amen!
so far i have sent my resume to most of the major institutions in singapore liao. lasalle, methodist sch of music, nus, and the new arts sch. i can only sit back and pray for God's plan in my life to happen according to His timing.
and...i cant believe some pple...they are so disgustingly gross. not that i look out for them, but they are unfortunately in my direct line of vision. like yesterday. took the train all the way to cck to meet my cousins. on the train, sitting right opposite me was this middle aged scrawny guy. halfway thru the journey (which was a pretty long one) he started bitting his nails on his left hand! gross! looked away in disgust. few minutes later, he began digging his nose with fingers on his left hand! OPS! argh!!! double gross. pple like that should be banned from even leaving their houses! i sooooo felt like puking. and to top it up, he was later smoothing his left hand against his face! i was thoroughly disgusted. not a sign of a piece of tissue anywhere. come on lah...where is your basic decency? or basic sense of cleanliness? ewww. pple like that simply put me off. *need to puke*

exams over...
....means that i start teaching again! phew! at last! i was starting to get pretty bored with life...or rather, i was starting to thoroughly enjoy my free time!
recently went to recee the whole area fr redhill mrt all the way to dawson place. i must say its areally good location. and dawson place has most of the basic amenities. there's ntuc, foodcourt, electrical shop, hairdresser, dentist, doctor, a cafe, 7-11, flower shop, photo developing shop...pretty ok lah! its also walkable, just 1 bus stop away. another bus stop away would be anchor point with more shops. and in the opposite direction, there would be more food, and TBP. so, great!
the haze is damn bad nowadays. the air is so stale! but thank God, my nose is clearing up! my sense of smell is returning. all thanks to God!
yesterday i had a not too pleasant encounter with an idiotic kiasu auntie. argh! was at popular at TBP. i went to buy some stationary including big cardboard sized paper. so anyway, i saw that there was no one in the queue and so i went to the head of the queue, all my big bulky stuff in tow. next thing i knew, this idiotic ks auntie who was only purchasing 1 box of ink cartridge, who was right behind me, simply GAVE her purchase to the cashier! although i was right in front of her! and the equally blur and stupid cashier didnt see me at the head of the queue! hey, i was there first! so i stared at the idiotic auntie, hoping that she would realise her fault. and guess wat. she had the damn guts to actually glare back and demand i get out of her way! pui! i couldnt believe it. wat has the world come to? *shake head*

we got it!
accomplishment, exhilaration, excitement, praising God.....ahhh! too much to handle in a night! thanks to these feelings, i couldnt get to sleep easily last night. only managed to properly sleep at arnd 2am. well, behind all these feelings was one of the most major decisions of our lives....drumroll......we bought our house!i'm still trying to get over it!!! its too much for me!all thanks to God! mum was going thru the past wk's papers for some reason and came upon last wk's classifieds. she saw a writeup abt a apmt n liked wat she saw so she called up the agent, got the details, and got me n jimbo to go view the place. well, we went to recee the place that very night, check out the transportation, area, block, unit fr the ouside. liked wat we saw. so jimbo himself went for the viewing on sat. i couldnt go as i was teaching. and he liked wat he saw on the inside. he took pictures to show me. and i liked it too! so we arranged with the agent for a 2nd viewing. bit difficult but we managed to get an appointment yesterday, tuesday! turns out that the owner seldom does weekday viewing, but she came dowm just for us! thank God! yesterday had rehearsal at kueky's place...i told him i had to leave at 5pm for my viewing...but as usual he spoilt child wants his own way...so i only managed to leave his place at 5.30pm!!! shit! i hated to be late for such as appointment! drove like siao there! and thank God again, the owner herself arrived 5 min later than me! phew! anyway, back to the place. very classy renovation as her husband is american. very good taste. everything was in good condition. spacious layout. 104sm. huge kitchen as compared to wat we have seen. 2 rooms facing south. 1 rm facing west but has a sun block thingy so still ok. owner is leaving to us: aircon, 1 wardrobe, ceiling fan, curtains. and the windows are grilled up. so thats good. and there is a decent area to hang clothes within the house itself...so no need to worry abt lifting heavy poles to hang outside and risk clothes falling downstairs. laminated parque flooring which is good. no blocked view. corner apmt. all of us liked it! and thank God jimbo had his cheque book with him! we settled the downpayment immediately! SOLD! the other family which was there actually wanted to go back n take their bank book! but we beat them to it! and that beautiful apmt is now ours! and one more good thing...there is no alter there! which my parents n i like! so all that is needed is some paint work. wonderful! God is good!my engagement ring was fr lee hwa destinee perfect 10 shi2 quan2 shi2 mei3. and we bought the flat on 10/10/06! 10th of oct! really, God is good and is the ultimate provider! Amen!

God is good and we continue to seek Him in all we do and trust that He has the best waiting for us!
